- Incorporating principles and requirements from laws, regulations, and professional standards into internal policy, guidance, and training/awareness materials
- Performing risk management activities, data inventories and Data Protection Impact Assessments on systems and technology
- Documenting reported data incidents
- Reviewing privacy impact assessments and providing privacy by design guidance
- Maintaining the data protection compliance database
- Manage and execute data protection projects
- Support operations in documenting, reviewing and evidencing compliance
- Communicate clear, objective, and detailed explanations of team policies and protocols to the relevant stakeholders
- At least Bachelor degree or equivalent in information security, legal, data privacy, IT or related field or equivalent work experience
- Related work experience in the field of information security and data privacy
- Good knowledge and overview of relevant standards, legislation and other requirements and best practices (ISO/IEC 2700X, NIST, GDPR, ePrivacy, etc.)
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and build consensus with teams across organizational lines
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Must uphold, enforce, and abide by all institutional policies
- Professional with a positive attitude and capable of contributing to a dynamic and team-oriented culture
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills
