What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify new business development opportunities and grow them into stable customers from pre-solicitation through post-contract award
- Prepare and update account strategy and sales forecasts to show continued penetration, upsell, and expansion opportunities
- Build a pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets with direct accountability on a quarterly and annual basis
- Develop a deep understanding of customers' business workflows and pain points to enhance customer satisfaction
- Coordinate with sales operations and customer success teams to ensure customer milestones are met
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1-5 years of successful enterprise software, hardware, or SaaS sales experience
- Demonstrated outbound prospecting experience (as BDR or self-sourcing AE) including cold calling and high-volume outreach
- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
- Experience running both transactional/SMB sales cycles and strategic deals with timelines of 3-6+ months and deal sizes of $100K+
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Outreach, Gong, or equivalent sales tools
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the MEDDIC sales qualification methodology
- A consultative selling approach with the ability to diagnose problems rather than just pitch products
- Tech-savvy and highly organized, capable of managing multiple accounts effectively
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment
