What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Quote and sell insurance products to new and existing customers
- Advise prospects on appropriate insurance coverage and options based on their needs
- Run reports to verify accuracy of information regarding insurance and driving history
- Explain coverage and payment options to customers
- Follow up on unsold internet leads and service existing customer policies as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must possess a Property & Casualty Producer’s License or be willing to obtain one within 15 business days of employment
- Minimum of prior sales experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in the insurance industry or related sales field
- Ability to multi-task with speed and accuracy
- Knowledge of company guidelines and ability to communicate them effectively
- Participation in sales meetings, seminars, or educational activities to maintain state licensing
