Uses an efficient, effective and methodical approach to instructional planning, scriptwriting and storyboard development
Uses knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design processes to design digital and instructor-led training assets for NielsenIQ products and platforms
Effectively manages highly technical subject matter experts and business stakeholders to draft learner-centric scripts & storyboards; knows how to flip the technical conversation to action-oriented, simplified language
Actively leads & engages in our learning culture evolution from instructor-led to self-directed, digital and blended learning
Communicates & strategizes to meet unique needs, learner insights and change management requirements to stakeholders
Works to effectively hand-off instructional designs to skilled developers who bring the designs to life
Maintains and seeks to elevate our high standards for learning deliverables
Actively engages in continuous improvement efforts
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications, Instructional Technology, Training or equivalent education / experience
Must be able to read and write in fluent English
At least 3-4 years relevant work experience
Experience with transforming technical content into an engaging and interactive learning experience via multiple modalities including instructor-led training (classroom and virtual), eLearning, videos, and job aids
Strong organizational and presentation skills
Ability to manage projects and deadlines to deliver high-quality results
Ability to effectively adapt deliverables based on stakeholder and peer feedback
Ability to take initiative as a self-starter and work with limited supervision in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
Experience working in a remote role
Familiarity with the SAM model for instructional design
Experience with Consumer Panel Data
Candidates with a strong digital portfolio
Experience developing multi-country content
Fluency in a second language
- Microsoft Office or Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs)
- Rapid authoring tools (Storyline 360, Captivate, Easy Generator, etc.)
- Adobe Creative Cloud applications (incl. Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Video and audio editing applications (Camtasia, Audacity, etc.)
- HTML, coding, or web design experience
- Work in dynamic environment engaging with local and global companies.

Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and cutting-edge digital Instructional Design Consultant. This role will work alongside our Digital Learning & Performance team to write and develop NielsenIQ learning content. The person who fills this role will be responsible for our internal and external clients’ learning content and overall satisfaction with our products and services.
The ideal candidate is experienced with micro-learning and content writing/designing for the modern learner. They should be skilled at transforming technical content into engaging and interactive learning experiences. Additionally, the right candidate will also be experienced in creating contents for virtual instructor-led training, eLearning, job aids and writing scripts for videos. Candidates must be willing to maintain a learning mindset with a sincere desire and aptitude for growth.
This is a global position with key stakeholders in Australia and Europe. Flexible working hours are required.
