      • This position will require you to be located in the Greater Cleveland, Ohio area.
      • You must be currently enrolled in either undergraduate or graduate level coursework to qualify as an intern.u00A0
      • We are in a hybrid schedule, 2 days in the office and 3 days work from home.
      • Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation for the duration of the internship. OverDrive does not provide housing assistance or relocation support.

      Responsibilities: u00A0 u00A0 u00A0
      • Support drafting and proofreading press releases, media alerts, and pitches under the guidance of the PR/Communications team.
      • Track media coverage of OverDrive, Libby, Kanopy, and Sora and help compile weekly or monthly coverage reports through Meltwater.
      • Attend weekly PR Agency meetings to learn about upcoming media opportunities.
      • Manage PR influencer boxes and shipping.
      • Assist in researching potential influencer partners for Libby Ambassador program.
      • Assist with community management for Libby via Sprout; and engaging with like-minded brands, patrons, and partners.
      • Learn how PR integrates with marketing, social media, content, and brand strategy at OverDrive.
      • Gain exposure to B2B and B2C communications in a mission-driven, library-focused organization.

      • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
      • Exceptional attention to detail.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Sound problem solving and decision-making skills.
      • Proficiency with general office tools and platforms such as the Microsoft Suite, Slack and Media Tools (Cision, Sprout, Meltwater, or similar).
      • An interest in Public Relations and Influencer Marketing.
      • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and industry trends.
      • Proactive problem-solving skills and a creative mindset.
      • Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
      • A passion for continuous learning and professional development.
      • Skills in managing competing priorities and knowing how to execute and prioritize tasks effectively.
