These analysis, measurement and control products are essential for gas leak detection in air conditioning/refrigeration and automotive manufacturing. They are vital to equipment manufacturers and end-users in the complex fabrication of semiconductors and thin film coatings for optics, flat panel displays, solar cells and industrial vacuum coating applications. Other users of our vacuum-based processes include the life sciences, research, aerospace, packaging, heat treatment, laser cutting and many other industrial processes. We also leverage our expertise in vacuum technology to provide unique, toxic chemical analysis products for emergency response, security, and environmental health and safety.

      REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Active student with two or more years of physics, chemistry, material science, engineering, or relevant course work
      • Must be able to work well in cross-functional teams and have excellent interpersonal skills
      • Must have passion, self-motivated, great attention to detail, ability to multitask, and enthusiasm for learning
      • Must be able to work in an organized manner with guidance from mentor
      • Must be able to do data analysis, graphing, summarize results, and write a report

      ONE OR MORE OF THE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

      • Knowledge in ionization theory and methods
      • Knowledge on vacuum technology equipment, measurement and applications
      • Knowledge or practical experience in mass spectroscopy, gas chromatography, and/or optical based measurement, sensors and instrument
      • Knowledge of laser sources, optics, and systems
      • Able to perform literature research and provide insight on relevant topics
