- Provide an overall strategic focus for the customer by working in collaboration with them to reach planned and agreed partnership policies that fully optimise the synergies of the IQVIA / Customer relationship.
- Liaise closely with senior European-level customer contacts on a day-to-day basis to ensure each project is aligned to the customer’s objectives
- Provide project management for complex multi-country projects in sales or medical affairs.
- Manage the hiring and selection process of team members in collaboration with talent acquisition.
- Provide day to day management of team members including field visits, performance reviews, and guidance in professional development
- Develop standard processes to ensure staff have the proper materials, systems access and training to complete job responsibilities.
- Oversee the execution of the training plan for each region / office / country
- Align with local country operations and other International Project Directors to ensure the dissemination of best practice in project management.
- Manage the financial performance of multiple varied projects, (e.g. achievement of financial targets, invoicing, cross charging, gap analysis, cost control, cash flow revenue and profitability), identify and manage financial issues and provide regular feedback on the financial performance of the team
- Guide and direct the analytics department to build and create the required analytical tools.
- A Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum, plus at least 8 years relevant experience gained within the pharmaceutical or medtech industry (or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience)
- Proven track record of national sales management experience in one country, or across multiple countries
- Prior experience of managing teams in the contract service organisation environment would be beneficial
- Eligibility to work in the EU on a permanent basis
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Outstanding IT and presentation skills
- Fluent English is essential; other language skills would be desirable.

Working as part of a specialist business unit focussing on emerging biopharma and medtech arenas, our teams include both commercial and field based medical personnel (MSL) in niche therapy areas such as rare diseases and oncology.
