- The Manufacturing Intern will provide support to the Manufacturing team through the application of core analysis & engineering techniques, including process flow design & mapping, productivity measures & time studies, data collection, and computational.
- Dates of Internship: June 2nd - August 8th 2025
- Partner with Inventory Control to understand material/data flow, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements using available technology.
- Create, update, and maintain concise and understandable documentation including but not limited to work instructions, reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Work with and through others for the analysis of production problems, their solution, and the effective and successful implementation of the solution .
- Implement lean manufacturing methods for identifying production needs.
- Present to management on experience at the completion of the Intern period
- All other duties or projects as assigned
- The qualified candidate will be working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial & Systems or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field at a college or university located in Kentucky
- Demonstrated ability to research, review and analyze information from various sources.
- Outstanding communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team setting and challenge current processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and related computer skills.

Dates: The internship will run from June 2, 2025 to August 8, 2025. Selected interns are expected to be available for work for the entire 10-week program.
Location: This position will be based out of our Manufacturing Facility in Lexington, KY.
Salary: Compensation for this internship will be $23.00 per hour.
