- Assist systems engineering teams in the launch vehicle department
- Build tools, methods, or documentation to assist with critical tasks
- Create Scripts to assist in automation and integration of tasks
- Lead changes as required by the systems engineering team, evaluating impact across programs
- Help in CAD Release process as required
- Work interdisciplinary with teams to fully understand vehicle needs and impacts
- Enrollment or a recent graduate of a BS or MS program at an accredited university or college
- Excited to work in a hands-on, constantly evolving environment
- Detail-orientated yet able to manage multiple concurrent tasks
- Strong comprehension of design fundamentals in the specific discipline
- Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
- Able to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Systems Engineering and Requirements Tracking
- Experience or exposure to Teamcenter NX environment
- General understanding of Liquid Rockets and their systems
- Python or other coding basics
- Interface with API tools

SUMMARY
As an Intern in the Launch Vehicle Systems Engineering group you will be responsible for assisting with projects integral to vehicle success. System Engineers will be responsible for budget tracking across vehicle systems, change tracking, and requirements management. This person will assist in establishing methods and documentation for critical tasks at Firefly and manage deliverables through the lifecycle of the rocket. This person must have excellent interpersonal skills and an intense drive for knowledge and understanding.
