  Key Qualifications

  • Experience in designing, building, and shipping software
  • Experience in Objective-C OR Swift OR C
  • Deep understanding of multi-threaded programming and synchronization as well as multi-process IPC mechanisms
  • Experience in systems programming and middleware
  • Experience working on developer-facing frameworks or libraries
  • Knowledge of iOS programming
  • Solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts
  • Laser-focus on the smallest details that are significant to our customers

  Description

  As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to expand the functionality of the SensorKit framework and support the broader health research related efforts at Apple. This position requires a self-motivated engineer with strong technical and communication skills to handle responsibilities including: - Designing and building features used by millions of users, that can be used within the technical constraints of small, low-power devices. - Developing logical, scalable, forward-thinking APIs - Developing daemons backing our APIs on multiple Apple platforms - Collaborating with and advising other teams at Apple - Participating in and influencing architecture and code reviews

  Education & Experience

  Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

  Additional Requirements

  • Familiarity with iOS or macOS useful

  Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $116,105.60 and $208,300.00 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
