Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Project Engineer Staff to join the Bus Center of Excellence (BusCoE) team in Denver, Colorado.
In this role you will:
• Project Management of IRAD efforts related to the LM2100, LM400 and LM50 Bus Platforms
• Support IRAD and Program Engineering leads in planning and execution of work scope and execution
• Ensure that projects are completed on schedule, supporting program insertion timelines, following established procedures, schedules, and work plans
• Coordinate the planning, organizing, control, integration and completion of Engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility
• Ensure Engineering is coordinated across Program and suppliers
• Support Ad hoc tasking by Program Technical Leaders

• Knowledge of program lifecycle and how early achievements may drive future costs
• Demonstrated ability to work with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope
• Experience throughout engineering lifecycle (system definition, design, build, test and operational deployment)
• Experience with phases of product lifecycle (e.g., SRR, PDR, CDR, MRR, and TRR). • Positive demeanor, accountable, and responsible and able to work in a team-focused, dynamic environment
• Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very sophisticated problems and implement constructive change
• Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or fields outside of Systems Engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, with the ability to lead multi-functional teams, build strong relationships with team members and build consensus among peers
• Strong leadership skills and whole systems thinking
