      Now Hiring - ISO Business Operation Analyst

      In this role you will provide support to the
      strategies and objectives of the ISO-BM. This includes a combination of supporting a strategic
      approach to regulatory compliance by conducting security and compliance assessments, working
      with various business units to ensure controls are adequate, appropriate, and effective, and
      supporting vendor due-diligence processes as required by TMX, Internal Audit, and Regulatory
      bodies.
      You will also support the development of processes and procedures, assist in the
      automation, implementation of processes as well as onboarding, and provide administrative
      support to various teams on an as-needed basis.

      Key Accountabilities

      • Responsible for analyzing and advising on regulatory and audit controls and requirements:

        • Assist in designing strategy and detailed plan appropriate for the needs of audit and regulators

        • Support, internal and external audits and the creation and governance of the action plans to improve efficiency of ISO and correct identified compliance gaps.

        • Track all ISO related audits, work with auditors and Business Lines to keep audit focus in scope

        • Handling and maintaining audit program controls. Preparing team members and related materials required for effective audit meetings

      • Perform assessments on our Third Party vendors and service providers based on regulatory monitoring and oversight schedules:

        • Articulates results of the final assessments to business collaborators, program managers, and other internal parties.

        • Maintains inventory of relevant suppliers/vendors, controls, and risks for ongoing vendor risk management activities

      • Oversee and track delivery timelines and commitments to meet key achievements and delivery objectives

      • Find opportunities for process and control improvements, automation, and consolidation, and participate in development of implementation plans:

        • Recommends establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information.

        • Onboard and educate ISO and Business employees about new processes and internal standard processes

        • Working with business to identify and improve existing control processes.

        • Assist in documenting process changes and maturity

      • Participate in the creating and expansion of a report template inventory for a variety of topics, audiences, and complexities:

        • Engage and coordinate collaborator contribution for cross-disciplinary reports

        • Standardize the use of metric dashboard across divisions, where possible

      • Support ISO Training & Awareness Program by monitoring compliance and timelines

      • Assists other staff in the management and oversight of security program functions

      Skills and experience

      • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years governance experience

      • Basic understanding of security requirements, frameworks, templates, assessments, process maps, data flows

      • Knowledge of the Canadian cybersecurity and FMI regulations

      • Understanding and application of information security principles, including confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST

      • Cybersecurity Framework in everyday practice

      • Experience in performing Third Party and Threat Risk assessment process and methodology

      • Experience testing or auditing technical controls.

      • Excellent oral/written communication, problem solving and analytical skills

      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired objectives and project results

      • Ability to interface effectively and significantly with all levels of management, departments, business units across global time zones and outside vendors

      • Project Management Skills an asset

      • Ability to interpret and apply policies and regulations across a large, complex business;

      • Ability to work with multiple teams to achieve common goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

      • Can work independently with limited supervision and direction

      • Gsuite, ServiceNow, and/or Python familiarity is an asset

      • Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
