      The Role

      This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing in-house Internal Audit Team and play a pivotal role in the execution of the SOX program.

      The IT SOX Auditor role will assist the Internal Audit Manager to test in-scope processes for global entities. The IT SOX Auditor must have proven experience testing the design and operating effectiveness of key IT controls (IT General Controls, IT Application Controls and Key Reports). The IT SOX Auditor will also assist control owners with remediation efforts to ensure that controls are operating effectively by the end of the year.

      You may also have the opportunity to perform operational audits as part of the wider remit of the Genius Sports Internal Audit Team.

      Main Responsibilities

      Your main responsibility will be to perform SOX testing including design and operating effectiveness testing, remediation test-work, and roll-forward testing. You will also assist the Internal Audit Manager to plan, coordinate, and execute all phases of SOX compliance including:

      • Updating the scoping and risk assessment.
      • Updating SOX documentation, including risk and controls matrices and process flowcharts and narratives, and evaluate controls as new systems are developed or processes change.
      • Ensuring that controls are properly designed for all in scope processes and global entities.
      • Providing technical guidance and advice to control owners for remediation of internal control gaps.
      • Ensuring any internal control deficiencies are remediated and re-tested by year-end.
      • Tracking and monitoring overall SOX assessment status for reporting to senior management. Ensure all SOX deliverables and deadlines are met.

      Required Skills

      • At least two years’ experience in a comparable IT control testing role at either Auditor or Senior Auditor level working either in an in-house multi-national firm or an accountancy firm.
      • Internal audit background with a strong focus on SOX and internal controls.
      • Solid understanding of SOX and internal control concepts (e.g., COSO).
      • Strong written and inter-personal skills.
      • Multi-client, commerce experience.
      • Intermediate Excel and Visio skills.

      Desirable Qualifications and Skills

      · Qualified or working to a relevant professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Accountant or Certified Internal Auditor).

      • Workday ERP and Salesforce experience.
      • Experience of using data analytics tools.
      • Tech industry experience.
      • Operational internal audit experience.

      This role is a Hybrid opportunity that requires 1 day a week in our Soho office (Thursday)
