      The Opportunity: Are you a Joint Venture (JV) Analyst who can adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities? If so, we may have the position for you! The JV Analyst’s primary role is to provide support for the full cycle management of Joint Venture Agreements. Working alongside Joint Venture Representatives, Accounting, Production and Operations teams, the JV Analyst will manage new and existing agreements to ensure delivery of expected value in compliance with the applicable contractual obligations and internal processes. Key Accountabilities: - Draft, review and maintain joint venture service agreements including CO&O and Unit agreements, within an assigned geographic area while ensuring that all negotiated terms, business procedures and contractual obligations are met - Input and maintain contract information stored in QBLM (Qbyte Land Management), and ensure that data is accurately represented for decision making and analysis purposes - Communicate service agreement summaries to the affected business units while recognizing the flow of information between the integrated systems - Act as the point of contact for joint venture agreement queries from Joint Venture Representatives, Production, Operations, Land, Accounting, external stakeholders, etc. - Provide assistance to Joint Venture Representatives and the ‘asset’ team in the pursuit of commercial opportunities (reroutes, tie-ins, plant consolidations, third party initiatives, etc.) - Conduct fee and/or area reviews to assist in asset utilization and cost optimization initiatives Other Details: - Job location: Calgary, Alberta - Eligible for relocation pursuant to Canadian Natural’s Relocation Policy - Shift schedule: 5X2 - Monday to Friday – 8 hours per day - Competitive salary, stock options, stock savings plan and benefits Skills & Qualifications: - Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with two years of related joint venture and/or contract management experience - Completion of the Petroleum Joint Ventures Association (PJVA) certificate is considered an asset - Understanding of joint venture accounting is an asset - Key Competencies include:- Commercial mindset and detail oriented - Proficient in spreadsheet and software applications Why Canadian Natural?
