What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and test Appian BPM applications
- Configure, debug, and integrate systems, including forms, reports, logic, and interface components
- Work with relational databases and SQL scripting
- Follow Agile methodologies for software development of large-scale business critical applications
- Design and implement SOAP and REST Web Services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 1+ years of hands-on experience with Appian BPM
- Experience with Application Servers like JBoss, Weblogic, IIS
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL scripting
- Proficiency in all phases of software development using Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST Web Services
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active government security clearance at any level
- Certification as a Level 1, 2, or 3 Appian Developer
- Experience with Appian Tempo and Java development
- Minimum 2+ years of work experience in a Federal government setting
- Familiarity with Agile Framework and defining technology architecture
- Exposure to industry platforms and programming languages such as Appian BPM, IBM WebSphere, Mule, LAMP/JBOSS, HADOOP, Java, Microsoft/.Net
- Experience in Enterprise Application integration (SOA, ESB) and n-tier client-server architectures
- Familiarity with Appian Sites and Java developer with Maven builds
