Siemens Real Estate is the real estate service provider at Siemens and has overall responsibility for the group's real estate business. We manage the portfolio and operate the buildings, including all services relating to real estate. We are responsible for real estate disposal and manage all construction projects throughout Siemens, thus ensuring that the use of resources is optimized and sustainable in terms of costs, transparency and efficiency at over 2500 locations worldwide. Siemens Real Estate (SRE) is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to be responsible for construction and facility management projects. Location: Mexico City Responsibilities: Meaningful and multifaceted tasks await you in strategic purchasing for construction and facility management projects. You will work with different departments from development through construction to operation of the construction project and you are supporting in facility service tenders. Implement procurement strategies in your projects. Sourcing of suppliers and ensure EHS-compliant supplier selection. Analyze and evaluate proposals. Prepare and negotiate contracts. Prepare the target cost analysis, cost & evaluation of alternatives. Support claim management Benchmarking activities by conducting market analysis and collecting information on best practices in terms of methods, processes and systems. Supply market monitoring for opportunities and risks. Define and implement mitigation measures together with the project team. Build and maintain partnerships with qualified contractors and suppliers to optimize the balance between quality and cost. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or already have experience in other purchasing functions. 2+ years of professional experience in position of project procurement and/or project commercial. Technical or Construction Management background preferred. Experience in some of the following areas: project management, quantity survey, project finance and commercial, project engineering etc. Experienced in procurement projects with ability in communication and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Innovation and digitalization driver.
