- Assist in the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with senior architects to develop architecture blueprints and detailed documentation.
- Conduct research on emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
- Support the development and integration of various systems and applications.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of hardware and software components.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Assist in creating proof-of-concepts (POCs) and prototypes to validate architecture solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for implemented solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and standards.
- Coordinate with internal or external auditors and ensure the integrity of our processes.
- Work with business analysts to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyze and document current systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
- Participate in the development and implementation of support strategies and improvements.
- Monitor and report on support metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Optional but preferred: Use knowledge of Yardi or RealPage schema and datasets to prepare technical solutions for break-fix and/or OpEx / CapEx developments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s degree preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or related roles.
- Broad understanding of architecture principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
- Broad familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related services.
- Basic experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Advanced knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Experience with commercial industry financial applications (Yardi, RealPage, MRI, JDE, etc)
- Basic experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Broad understanding of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git).
- Certification in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate).
- Broad knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
- Advanced proficiency with support tools and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Azure DevOps).
