- Responsible for the coordination and supervision of a specific task or function of a nontechnical nature or for a project of a nontechnical nature.
- Ensures all activities are carried out in accordance with project commitments or specific objectives.
- Responsible for day-to-day coordination and administration of tasks by ensuring quality and productivity standards are maintained while meeting client schedules.
- Coordinates with other contract and subcontract personnel to ensure work moves smoothly from one functional area to another. Works with project manager and/or client to prepare work schedules and man-hour estimates.
- Provides written management or program plans, maintenance and operations instructions, task status analysis, cost reports, and other related documents.
- Ensures all administrative tools are effectively used to control and accomplish tasks and may provide operations security protection for all sensitive/critical information.
- Assists with writing manuals and other documentation.
- Responsible for status and task management reports for area of responsibility. May set up and manage project facilities.
- Bachelor's degree or an Associate's degree and 2 years of experience or a High School diploma/equivalent and 4 years of experience.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a DHS Public Trust.
- Experience in project management/coordination.
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, and performance tracking tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- DHS Public Trust clearance or higher
- Experience supporting DHS, ICE, or other federal government agencies
- Experience supporting telecommunications or infrastructure related projects a plus.
- Familiarity with government contracting environments and compliance requirements
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking a Junior Telecom Analyst to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will support the Operations and Solutions Delivery Support (OSDSS) to DHS ICE. The selected candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and telecommunications initiatives in a mission critical environment. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced federal setting.

Target Salary Range
$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
