  Job Description

  As a member of the Test Management team you will be part of a dynamic team to provide global test services. The team is responsible for organizing all the test activities needed to bring into production new releases of the Avaloq products and migrate new Avaloq clients into our platform.

  Scope of work

  • Responsible for all test activities throughout testing life-cycle of Avaloq solutions for key clients and supporting the definition of a test factory.
  • Client facing role requiring excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to manage stress levels in demanding project contexts.
    

  Your key tasks

  • Create and maintain test cases for the client and internal projects.
  • Read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested.
  • Execute all the test case and report defects, define severity and priority for each defect.
  • Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.
  • Work closely with Developer and Test Manager to complete the test execution within the schedule.
  • Translate use case and test case documents into automated test cases. Fix or adapt the test cases if deemed necessary.
  • Perform business as usual operations such as reporting bugs/problems that are discovered as part of the testing.
  • Innovate and maintain the existing test frameworks.
  • Collaborating on quality assurance within a team

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Broad experience in a variety of Test Automation / Quality Assurance Tools
  • Firm understanding of the testing processes and methodologies.
  • Quality-conscious attitude, being self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Open-minded and able to work in a global model.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English is mandatory.
  • Avaloq testing experience is Must.

  It would be a real bonus if you have

  • ISTQB Foundation and knowledge of agile way of working
  • Knowledge of Orbium Test Master
