      OVERVIEW

      Kaercher Insurance, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Key Account Coordinator . We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

      RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Process urgent eligibility requests and create temporary ID cards while ensuring COBRA rules and timelines are followed for vendor communication.

      • Prepare for employer open enrollment meetings, create compliance documents (Employee Annual Notices), and set up groups using Employee Navigator and Ease.

      • Compile employee census data, create deduction reports with Excel formulas, audit group carrier invoices, and assist with third-party invoice audits.

      • Put together small group proposals, create rate cards, employee election forms, and benefit guides using PowerPoint templates.

      • Keep management systems and shared drives organized, use Zendesk and Microsoft Planner for task prioritization, and improve team processes.

      • Check formulas and calculations in Excel, maintain prompt communication via Outlook and Microsoft Teams, and participate in team meetings.

      • Mentor and train other Account Coordinators while actively contributing to process improvements.


      QUALIFICATIONS

      • High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of experience in Employee Benefits, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.

      • Knowledge of Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Long-Term Disability (LTD), Short-Term Disability (STD), and supplemental products.

      • Familiarity with Carrier Eligibility Rules and COBRA regulations.

      • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues and external partners.

      • Ability to lead meetings effectively with strong listening, reasoning, and communication skills.

      • Proficient in Excel for basic math computations and skilled in MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Brokerage Builder, and Carrier Websites.

      • Capable of operating office equipment, including copier, scanner, fax, calculator, and telephone.


      BENEFITS

      This job requires presence in the office on a hybrid schedule as agreed with the manager.

      Hourly range is $20 to $28 per hour.
