Job Description

- Performs detailed operational performance investigations to be used as part of the contract compliance, review board and disciplinary processes
- Supports the planning and execution of review boards as well as tracks prior cases for historical reference that provides input on the decision making process
- Partner with HR to manage contract deviations, grievance responses and disciplinary actions.
- Participates in the arbitration process, including collaboration with Legal on strategy, disciplinary matters and contract interpretation
- Vast knowledge of general administrative functions within Bargaining groups. (Onboarding, offboarding, PRIA files, DASSP)
- Expert on productivity database management utilizing JIRA and Excel
- Review and reconcile compensation discrepancies in regards to contractual agreements
- Provide departmental support and training while mentoring Labor and Employee Specialist.
- Perform other activities as directed.

Experience in project management a plus

Demonstrated ability to partner effectively at all levels of the organization and facilitate issue resolution

Knowledge and skills to quickly understand complex situations and identify solutions in partnership with various business partners that may have competing interests.

Demonstrated experience in working with labor organizations, interpreting contracts and negotiating disputes

Knowledge of NetJets operational requirements of bargaining team members and ability to investigate individual performance related issues

Strong communication skills in writing, presentation, oral and facilitation

Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple cases at any given time, providing on-going status updates and maintaining historical references for consistent management of issues.

Identify and report triggers for compliance issues and recommend appropriate action

Ability to drive compliance with company / employment contractual policies and procedures as well as identify areas that may require refinement.

Strong PC skills including but not limited to: Microsoft Office products and Company specific computer systems such as Crew Rostering and IntelliJet I

Ability to obtain working knowledge of Federal, State and Local employment and Labor laws and regulations as well as one or more of the collective bargaining agreements at NetJets
Purpose of Position
While a Labor and Employee Relations Specialist may focus in one or two specific areas (pilot, flight attendant, dispatch, maintenance or non-bargaining), the Labor and Employee Relations Specialist, Senior will be required to have broad knowledge of all areas to ensure consistency across teams, as allowable by the individual collective bargaining agreements and/or policies.
Acting mentor for Labor and Employee Relations Specialists. Manages and coordinates contract compliance and operational performance investigations and provides guidance and clarification to the business regarding policy and contract compliance. Responsible for managing the entire review board process to include providing input on the decision making process
