We pride ourselves on our strong and talented team and our award-winning culture.

      About the Role

The Executive Recruiting team focuses on partnering with our executives to ensure that we are hiring talented and diverse leaders across Rapid7’s business to drive the company’s growth, supporting the technical organization as well as go-to-customer and business support functions.

      In this role, you will:

      • Assist in creating innovative search strategies that will identify and attract the best leaders for Rapid7 with a focus on raising the bar with every hire that is made, as well as upholding our commitment to continuing to build a diverse organization

      • Proactively map the external talent market, building out talent networks and industry sources to develop a future pool of leadership candidates

      • Provide strategic guidance, coaching and expectation-setting to our executives regarding hiring profiles and process, target companies and market conditions

      • Lead consistent and comprehensive update meetings with hiring managers on active searches

      • Conduct initial candidate interviews and lead candidate debriefs with interview teams

      • Perform reference checks and present & negotiate offers to successfully close candidates

      • Collaborate with peers across Talent Acquisition and People Strategy to provide an outstanding candidate experience, and to make certain the competencies and behaviors we seek in our leaders are reflected in our interviewing and selection processes

      • Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-term growth of the organization, implementing new processes and fine-tuning existing processes to deliver quality results for our customers

      • Efficiently use our applicant tracking system to ensure data integrity and allow you to tell the story of your search, progress and challenges

      • Take a data-driven approach to influence hiring managers, using internal data as well as market insights, helping to enable hiring managers to make the right hiring decisions based on talent availability, the business priorities and cost

      • Identify and manage 3rd party partners such as executive search firms and research providers for specific searches when appropriate

      The skills you’ll bring include:

      • 10+ years of industry experience, either in an executive search firm or in corporate recruiting, with a solid history of conducting senior leadership searches

      • Background in managing complex searches across all business functions, especially in the technology space

      • Experience building high-quality and diverse candidate pipelines for full recruitment cycles, using creative sourcing techniques when necessary

      • Dedication to and a proven track record of building strong, collaborative stakeholder and candidate relationships, as well as working collaboratively with internal peers

      • Clear and persuasive communication skills and comfort presenting to and working with senior executives

      • Passion for creating a compelling story and selling Rapid7 to passive candidates

      • Ability to approach challenges with a positive, solutions-oriented mindset

      • Intuition, natural curiosity and adaptability - we value new ideas and creativity and want to be continuously developing individually and as a team

      • Strong organizational skills and detail orientation with a commitment to leveraging systems and processes to help us scale

      • Highly analytical and articulate, comfortable leveraging data and market insights to drive consensus and strategy

      • Embodiment of Rapid7’s core values of never done, be an advocate, impact together, challenge convention, and bring you
