      Band 5 (ACT) Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician

      Main duties of the job

      Medicines Management Technician

      The RJAH Pharmacy Department is seeking an enthusiastic Pharmacy Technician to manage and co-ordinate support for the Pharmacy element in clinical trials, design and deliver training within the Dispensary/Stores and oversee the NVQ level 2 training for Pharmacy Support Staff and NVQ level 3 training and apprenticeships.

      To assist the department in the delivery of a comprehensive medicines management service. The post holder will be required to provide support to all aspects of the Pharmacy Service.

      Who we're looking for

      Applicants must be:

      Registered as a practicing Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) with a current up to date CPD record

      Have a current nationally recognised Accredited Checking Technician (ACT) qualification

      Experience as working as a Band 4 Technician for a minimum of 2 years.
