Be a technical leader on a team that is focused on the development, testing, and deployment of an innovative electrochemical technology enabling large-scale long duration energy storage. Work collaboratively within a team of multidisciplinary experts and participate in the complete product development life cycle from concept through commercialization. Partner closely with business leadership to scale-up solutions that address the sustainability needs of an exciting new customer base.
      Key Responsibilities
      • Use your product development experience and electrochemistry knowledge to lead technical problem solving
      • Apply your product scale-up experience to drive new LDES technology to market
      • Thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with rapidly evolving priorities requiring agile adaptation
      • Interface with internal and external customers and partners
      YOU MUST HAVE
      • Bachelor's Degree in Electrochemistry or Engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience developing and commercializing LDES technology
        OR
      • Ph.D. in Electrochemistry or Engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience developing and commercializing LDES technology
      WE VALUE
      • Ability to lead, motivate, develop and mentor others
      • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging problems
      • Depth of knowledge in electrochemistry fundamentals
      • Track record of successful contribution to new product scale-up
      • Experience in flow battery development, testing, and commercialization
      • Experience with battery management systems and power electronics
      • Experience in lab-based experimentation and data analysis
      • Experience implementing principles of six sigma and design for manufacture
      • Global mindset, cross cultural agility and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
      • Excellent project management, prioritization, and technical presentation skills
      • Curiosity and passion for learning
      • Commitment to the mission of developing technology to enable the sustainable energy transition
