Job Description

Work on model sampling supporting the development of foundational deep learning models
Work on the infrastructure for & contribute to the training, fine-tuning and usage of large language models
Contribute and lead the development of new breakthrough user experiences leveraging cutting edge ML models
Lead the productization of selected ML models into Adobe products
Help advance code quality, code practices and code efficiency throughout the ML model development process
Collaborate closely with ML Researchers, Product Deployment teams, and Machine Learning engineers to accelerate the productization of cutting-edge ML features
Lead projects from scoping requirements to launch, ensuring ongoing support
Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues
Stay updated with the latest test, development, and deployment practices, and actively share knowledge with the team and community
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong proficiency in Python and PyTorch
Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals
Experience working with large and complex code bases, integrating with deep learning models
Experience writing clean and maintainable code
Experience and track record in delivering ML powered product features
Familiarity with Agile and Lean development processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to think creatively to debug and solve complex, hard-to-reproduce problems
Expertise and experience in ML model sampling techniques.

Nice to have:Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $127,400 -- $238,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
Note: Deep ML knowledge is not required for this role. We are specifically seeking a Senior Software Architect with interest & expertise in ML model sampling, and a track record in delivering breakthrough ML-powered user experiences.#FireflyGenAI
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
