      About our team:

      The WIMT Advisor Platform team manages, develops and supports advisor facing brokerage systems. We have a global presence between the US and India. Our main development centers in the US are in New York, New Jersey, Charlotte, NC and St. Louis, MO. Our engineers are a mixture of full stack, front end and back-end service experts, who take advantage of the firm’s commitment to ongoing professional development through a wide range of resources. We have a separate first line support team that allows engineers to focus on their objectives. Our partnership with our business and co-ownership of work through the Agile product operating model means that there are plenty of opportunities for you to work directly with our business partners and further your understanding of the business.

      About this role:

      Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in advisor platform transformation as part of Wealth and Investment Management Technology working on Account 360. They will develop and modernize the digital trading platform using UI expertise. This lead will primarily be working in Java and Angular technologies building next generation wealth management platform. This role will be responsible for architecting, designing and implementing capabilities to modernize and scale legacy platforms within the digital space.       In this role, you will:

      • Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact

      • Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines

      • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs

      • Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors

      • Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives

      • Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals

      • Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor


      Required Qualifications:

      • 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

      • 5 years of User Interface (UI) experience using Angular

      • 5 years of development experience with Java

      • 5 years with CICD Pipeline

      • 3 years of Cloud experience

      • 3 years of experience using development toolkit including Jenkins, GitHub, and Bitbucket

      • 2 years of MongoDB

      • 2 years Harness

      • 1+ years of experience in Wealth and Investment Management Technology

      • 1+ years of experience with OpenFin/HERE container

      • 1+ years of FDC3 app to app interoperability

      Desired Qualifications:

      • 3 years of experience with Agile tools

      • 3 years of event driven development and microservice architecture

      • Financial services industry experience

      • Experience with Spring Boot, HTML5, JavaScript, API design, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry

      Pay Range

      Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

      $111,100.00 - $197,500.00
