      Job summary

      The Talent and Learning team are responsible for the provision of training opportunities for colleagues across Provide Community.

      The post holder will lead on the administration and project support function. This includes the below:

      • Be the first point of contact for the Talent and Learning team in relation to queries about mandatory and developmental training opportunities
      • To assist colleagues with upskilling on the soon to be introduced Learning Management System
      • To evaluate and audit training to ensure training is of the highest quality

      Main duties of the job

      Below are some of the main duties of this role:

      • Provide the Talent and Learning department with a comprehensive administrative service for all Talent and Learning events either delivered or co-ordinated by the department
      • Provide comprehensive administrative support for the apprenticeship stream by tracking apprentice progress, managing records on the Digital Apprentice Service (DAS) and co-ordinating with managers and training providers
      • Support Provide's Corporate Induction programmes by scheduling sessions, managing resources and liaising with facilitators
      • Lead on all financial queries related to the Talent and Learning department and maintain financial records
      • Liaise with external suppliers to ensure an adequate training programme is arranged across the year to ensure all Directorates can maintain high compliance levels

      Essential

      • Minimum level 4 qualification in HR, Business or Adult Education

      Desirable

      • CIPD level 3 or equivalent experience
      • E-learning related qualification
      • Qualification in training and/or teaching experience
      • Educated to degree level

      Experience

      • Track record as a professional in Learning and Development
      • Ability to manage a number of projects with excellent attention to detail
      • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
      • Experience of using Learning Management Systems, particularly Totara
      • Direct experience of supporting and monitoring progress of apprenticeships

      Desirable

      • Knowledge of apprenticeship funding models and apprenticeship standards
      • Experience of creating e-learning
      • Experience of financial processing and/or tracking budget spend
