The Department of Accounting in the College of Business at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks an Accounting Lecturer (TL020) beginning August 2026 or January 2027. This is a full-time renewable nine-month appointment.
Job Details:
The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of accounting courses as part of the undergraduate accounting program, depending on the needs of the department. Teaching load is 4 classes per semester. Office hours and service commitments are also required.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Full-Time teaching responsibilities include teaching four courses per semester in our undergraduate program. Service responsibilities may include committee work and/or student organization advising, as well as participation in community organizations and the discipline as relevant to the candidate’s expertise and interest. Lecturers at UW-W may be required to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, online and/or in a hybrid format. All students, faculty, and staff are expected to ensure their materials are digitally accessible and utilize standard technology platforms supported by UW-Whitewater. Examples include, but are not limited to, Navigate, Canvas, and Microsoft Office applications – including Outlook, which is essential for university email communications and scheduling.
