Job Description

- Manage day-to-day legal billing activities for a group of assigned attorneys
- Prepare, review, and finalize complex invoices, including electronic billing and special billing arrangements
- Edit pre-bills and apply write-offs in accordance with internal billing guidelines
- Analyze billing data and prepare recurring and ad-hoc billing reports
- Investigate and resolve billing questions, discrepancies, and client inquiries
- Partner with finance and systems teams to support billing process improvements and format updates
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality across all billing transactions
- Support special projects and additional billing-related tasks as needed
- College-level accounting coursework, accounting degree, or equivalent experience
- 1-3+ years of legal billing experience in a law firm environment
- Experience with legal billing systems
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and related tools
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys and staff
- Flexibility to support varied work demands, including occasional evenings or weekends if needed
Oxford Solutions is partnering with a professional services client to hire a Legal Billing Analyst for a direct hire opportunity.
This role follows a hybrid work schedule and supports a late-day shift from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
In this role, you will will manage complex legal billing activities while working closely with attorneys and internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely billing.
