      This position will have an in-office presence as business needs require, but does offer some remote work options at the supervisor and agency's discretion.

      The Arizona Department of Revenue is looking for a Licensing Coordinator to join the Tucson Licensing Division team! As a senior level technical expert, the Licensing Coordinator performs a complete range of customer service functions and engages in tasks similar to those of bookkeeping and accounting clerk leads.       Job Duties:

      Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
      -Directly receive payments in the form of cash, checks, and money orders from taxpayers and apply payments to accounts
      -Accept invoices, tax return documents, and issue receipts for payments made in person or through the mail
      -Perform the complete range of agency customer service functions, including providing assistance with complete Joint Tax Applications, Returns, Bonds, and Tobacco stamp orders
      -Responsible for researching and interpreting customer records and documentation in order to resolve the more complex customer complaints, issues, and inquiries regarding financial status
      -License and registration processing with associated fees and bonds
      -Prepare bank deposits and check for accuracy and error reconciliation
      -Create financial reports for revenue collected, voids, bank deposits, etc.
      -Document and report discrepancies for Accounts Receivable records to the agency controller

      -Banking and cash balancing
      -Basic accounting

      -Customer service
      -Cashiering and calculating
      -Typing and data entry

      -Think logically and analytically

      -Communicate verbally and in writing
      -Create interpersonal relationships
