What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support protocol development, participant recruitment, and data collection primarily via phone and Zoom
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data analysis in collaboration with team members
- Assist in the development and dissemination of literature reviews, reports, and presentations
- Attend weekly team meetings and communicate regularly with research partners and community stakeholders
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Doctoral degree (or ABD) in early childhood education, human development, psychology, public policy, public health, social work, or a related field
- Knowledge of early care and education policies and systems
- Extensive experience in collecting, managing, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data using relevant software (e.g., Stata, SPSS, R, Nvivo, Dedoose)
- Excellent verbal communication and academic writing skills
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with home-based child care systems
- Experience translating research for a general audience
- Experience interacting with economically, culturally, and linguistically diverse communities
- Willingness to engage in weekend or evening data collection activities
