Job Description
- Req#: 10428
- Perform review and complete the Boarding Data Sheet or its equivalent for data accuracy and data input and proper assignment of codes
- Book the loan Commitments and Note in the Core Loan Accounting System ensuring proper coding and hierarchy of the transaction
- Prepare closing and booking of extension letters, loan modifications and sub-notes for warehouse lines of credit.
- Prepare Wire instructions and disburse funds per the loan disbursement instructions
- Prepare loan files for scanning and retention of original documents
- Ensure all information is complete and accurate, all standards, guidelines, policies and procedures and regulations are followed
- Perform callback of loans booked by other associates
- Support and review assignment of loans to ensure timely closing
- Respond to all internal and external customer inquiries
- Create Management reports as requested
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Associate degree or completion of specialized courses of study at a business or trade school, or equivalent work experience in the Commercial Loan Servicing field required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial loan closing or commercial loan servicing required
- Ability to work on multiple projects/loans simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft software, inclusive of Word and Excel
- Loan system experience required with FIS loan system preferred
- Document Imaging system experience required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Good organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to organize and maintain a high volume work environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and perform in a fast paced environment

Overview
The Loan Administration Associate is responsible for the Closing and booking of Extension Letters, Loan Modification, and Warehouse Lines of Credit Advances. This position also provides support to Loan Administrators and Syndication Administrators relative to booking of loans on the core system, disburse loan proceeds, assemble loan files, follow up on post closing items and support loan collateral perfection. This position may be responsible for the callback of activities.
