- Assists work teams in establishing lean manufacturing, 5S, and employee satisfaction as benchmarks for ZF-NAO
- Verifies quality of work and documents adherence to standardized work
- Collects and enters data to drive Logistics performance metrics
- As directed, works on tasks related to safety, quality, and productivity goals
- Is capable of working as a member of logistics team and performs all job assignments
- Ensures that routine maintenance of equipment is performed
- Ensures that daily housekeeping duties are performed to advance the 5S principle as a foundation of Logistics philosophy
- Oversees proper performance of logistical station start up and shut down procedures
- Ensures the quality of all materials and products is maintained
- Close supervision (daily) of work teams
- Instruct well defined procedures and instructions
- Other duties as it relates to this position
- High School Diploma or GED (Associates Preferred)
- 3+ years of work-related experience
- Working knowledge of plant and business unit procedures/processes.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead professional staff (e.g. schedule daily tasks, prioritize, execute)
- Strong problem solving skills, having developed and presented 8D’s and/or presentations to the customer.
- Exemplary time/project management skills while demonstrating the ability to produce results under constraints (e.g. time, budget, headcount, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software (i.e. Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Proven ability in methods of communication, motivation, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
