- Guide, develop, and support a team of supervisors that support all shipping, receiving, and material handling activities. This includes hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Partnering with all departments within the site to sustain a safe work environment, develop processes to ensure product quality and food safety, and develop productivity ideas and process improvements to deliver financial and operational benefits
- Work with a network of peers to benchmark best practices and roll-out standard work procedures across the site
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to stabilize, sustain, and improve automated material handling equipment performance and inventory control processes.
- Lead and assist in daily operations, which could include but are not limited to developing training plans, performance feedback, project implementation, continuous process improvement, customer and supplier quality, and communication with internal business leadership and employees.

- High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED), Bachelors degree in engineering, business or related discipline preferred
- 5 years’ experience in warehouse/distribution center operations
- 2 years supervisory / management experience
Job OverviewLogistics Manager
The logistics Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the raw material warehouse, green coffee receiving, material movement within the factory, and outbound distribution of finished goods from our Spartanburg, SC facility. The Spartanburg facility is a highly automated, state of the art facility featuring a fleet of automated material handling vehicles and a high performing team environment.
