M365 Security Lead

Salary range: £50,000 - £60,000 depending on experience.

Full time- 37.5 scheduled hours per week

The M365 Security Lead will manage the continually expanding and evolving technologies in the Microsoft 365 space, with a focus on the Purview Compliance Centre. The successful candidate will have experience in leveraging existing and new functionality across the 365 and Azure stack to deliver Information Security improvements.

You’ll help us make health happen by:

• Configure and maintain DLP policies and controls within M365 and other potential third party tools

• Be an escalation point for Information Security incidents, providing advice and guidance on incident management situations

• Suggest and implement security improvements by evaluating trends, understanding requirements and monitoring updates

• Be comfortable using an array of tools (including Azure, Sentinel, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps) to produce requested information

• Maintain ownership of the Microsoft Purview Compliance portal, including the privileged access associated with it

• Possess the skills required to make recommendations to peers in Security Operations as well as more senior stakeholders, this will include introducing potential new services

Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:

• Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office 365, Purview Compliance Centre and other Admin areas.

• Experience in the use of and development of Microsoft Purview Compliance Centre as a means to reduce data exfiltration within a business environment.

• Technical knowledge on DLP best practices and emerging technologies (including OCR)

• Create, maintain and manage rulesets within the DLP blade, across all environments available within O365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).

• Industry recognized qualification (desired)
  Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals – SC-900.
  Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate – SC-400.
