Job Description
- Req#: 26-00449
- Create detailed test scenarios and test cases based on system requirements.
- Execute manual and batch testing for mainframe-based applications.
- Run mainframe batch jobs and troubleshoot execution errors.
- Analyze test results and document discrepancies between expected and actual outcomes.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with internal users and external partners.
- Collaborate with development, project, and business teams to validate system changes.
- Assist with technical and business documentation.
- Communicate testing results and project updates clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Work collaboratively with Clemson staff and contracted consultants.
- 4+ years of experience creating test scenarios and test cases
- 4+ years of experience with COBOL and JCL
- 4+ years of experience running mainframe batch jobs and troubleshooting errors
- 4+ years of experience using Serena ChangeMan
- Experience working in mainframe environments
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant Quality Assurance / Software Testing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Team collaboration and adaptability
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
- Healthcare Information Technology
