      Job Summary: Great Wolf is seeking a Manager, Digital Product Design who will bring specialization in user experience and design of digital experiences, as well as proven leadership skills. The leader in this role will be hands on, supervise a team of designers specializing in visual design, interaction design, experience design, and research to build great products and experiences for our guests across our digital product portfolio. Responsibilities will include creating compelling, insight-driven digital based experiences across Great Wolf’s website, mobile app, kiosks, and more that will enrich guest experiences and be second to none in the industry. This is a crucial role within the Digital team as it requires an ability to both lead a creative team while maintaining a highly collaborate relationship with our product management, marketing, technology, commercial stakeholders to drive revenue, generate awareness, and bring our lodge experience to life.

      Responsibilities:

      • Oversee creative digital direction and strategy across our digital products (website, app, kiosk, other)
      • Be obsessed with providing the best consumer experience in the products
      • Be hands on and cultivate an efficient process that maintains core UX principles across all visual design, including page templates, modules, design patterns, and typography
      • Lead and develop a team of UX, UI designers and research analyst to ensure brand quality standards are maintained and continually elevated
      • Partner with stakeholders across the Great Wolf Commercial Organization in particular work closely with the brand team to apply brand guidelines to our digital experience
      • Translate Great Wolf brand guidelines into a design system that ensures consistency across all digital areas and applications
      • Lead brainstorming and creative sessions with the team to drive compelling digital eCommerce guest experiences
      • Work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Tech teams to ensure there is always a harmonious integration of the brand into digital experiences, creating a seamless connection and eCommerce experience for customers across all touchpoints
      • Use a metrics and research-driven approach to analyze, create, and evangelize design strategy. Be well versed in different research protocols, qualitative, quantitative testing
      • Remain up to date across the latest trends in digital design and technology, proposing new ways to elevate our digital experiences
      • Act as the voice of the customer to contribute to our digital products roadmap and manage our VOC program, monthly reporting, and partnership with Medallia
      • Be a key partner across all teams contributing to the customer experience
      • Understand key customer segments, provide recommendations for new features based on input from guest data (quantitative and qualitative), discussions with key stakeholders and own thinking
      • Ensure consistency of UX and brand experience on all devices (mobile, tablet and desktop) in conjunction with style guides and best practices

      Required Qualifications:

      • Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience in-house, agency or hybrid (heavy in digital consumer product experience) 3+ years team management experience
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
      • Proven in the area of digital product design and have a solid understanding of digital product management, development, digital marketing, content management and ecommerce
      • Expertise with design tools (i.e. figma, Sketch, Zeplin, Photoshop)
      • Dynamic and results-oriented leader
      • Experience bringing work and strategy to life quickly while using excellent communication providing leadership and direction using excellent communication.

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Hospitality centered experience in consumer products
      • Knowledge of A/B/multivariate testing
      • Demonstrated experience in defining and/or working with robust design systems
      • Marketing and integrated campaign experience a plus
      • Clear understanding of content strategy and content management systems
      • Excellent project management skills
      • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
      • Ability to work independently, with a supervisor, and as part of a team
      • Strong presentation and organization skills
