- The Paid Media Manager will be supporting two Media Directors on the International Media team with the planning and activation of Pan Regional film campaigns bought out of the home office on at least 5-6 titles per fiscal year. This role will help with the planning of the full campaign life cycle from trailer launch to theatrical release, media burst and sustain efforts.
- Manager will work with agency buying team (based in London) by briefing them on upcoming films, research strategies, and planning parameters.
- This role will assist in putting together media recommendations to help move tracking.
- Work with strategy and research teams to build out Media Playbooks with oversight from the VP of International Media, Strategy & Operations.
- Responsible for reviewing weekly reports on campaigns manager is responsible for. Must have knowledge and understanding of media KPI metrics, analytics and be able to make media recommendations.
- Assist with creative kick-off calls and routing concepts for approval to various digital marketing teams for review. Knowledge of digital specs and production preferred.
- Assit with filmmaker meeting decks.
- Support VP of Media & Data Strategy with all performance media reporting for all SPE films and any ad hoc projects (i.e., search, exhibitor data, etc).
- Assist with Brand Lift Studies (BLS) reporting and creating powerpoint presentations that will be shared with markets.
- Evaluate other brand lift study measurements for testing on upcoming films (i.e., TikTok BLS, Snap BLS, Facebook TLA).
- Must have knowledge and understanding of media KPIs metrics, analytics and ability to interpret quantitative data.
- The Media Manager will oversee a handful of International territories(10+ small to mid-tiers) and be responsible for the campaign approval of each film by working with resepective markets to amend any strategic inaccuracies. Aligning market submissions with International media strategies led by Home Office to ensure global strategic execution and focus.
- Responsible for reviewing media plans, strategies and budget weighting to ensure it aligns with research and local market findings.
- Serve as regular contact with local market management teams to offer support and represent all of their marketing needs back to Home Office. Use this knowledge to leverage as much Home office support from senior management as possible to enhance opportunity of local market box office success.
- Attending internal Learning and Development courses to extend knowledge of how to use Sony tools and opportunities to enhance knowledge
- Evaluate new media partners and help organize meetings/learning sessions with HO Media team.
- Assisting the team’s junior members to develop their skills and experience with media planning, strategies and presentations.
- Extensive Movie Theatrical Marketing Background. Love and passionate about movies preferred.
- Experience in travel outside of North America helpful, and in interacting/working with other cultures. Foreign language skills a real asset but not required.
- Project Oversight – Strong attention to detail, willingness to wear multiple hats, and be able to adapt in a fast pace work environment.
- Media Measurement Methodologies – Understanding of basic media metrics (KPIs) and ability to understand excel and pivot data from a media lens. Being able to interpret data and story tell is key.
- Digital media/marketing landscape – Familiarity with addressable media strategies, brand safety verifciaton, ad traffic and performance buying platforms required (i.e. Campaign Manager, DV360, self-serve platforms, search), audience buying platforms and methodologies.
- Experience with ad trafficking and spec process preferred.
- Ability to adapt and work collaborately across multiple teams and various stakeholders (i.e. digital marketing, creative team, media agencies, research team, finance).
- Excellent written communication, oral communication, presentation, and team building skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), with strong understanding of Excel (formulas, pivot tables)
- Self-starter with high level of initiative
- Passionate, committed with a high level of energy
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability and urgency
- Must have an open communication style which takes into account managing expectations with multiple stakeholders. Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.

- Bachelors degree required
- Knowledge of Performance Media trading suites preferable (i.e. Google suite, DV360, FB Business Manager, self-serve platforms), Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Microsoft Outlook, IAS, etc.
- 3+ years of agency/client experience with all aspects of digital media planning, strategies, and performance media buying
- 2+ years exposure of international media operations via client or international movie marketing

QUALIFICATIONS
The anticipated base salary for this position is $78,100 to $103,500. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits.
