What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee corporate banking activities and manage a national team focused on client acquisition and relationship management
- Infuse the team's network with fresh prospects to expand opportunities and generate revenue
- Monitor and coach team performance, ensuring goals are achieved and relationships are maintained
- Create and implement strategic plans for the assigned commercial group, establishing KPIs and action plans
- Ensure credit quality by monitoring portfolios and partnering with the credit team for necessary corrective actions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum experience required: 20+ years in Commercial Banking
- Strong relationship management and business development/sales skills
- Knowledge of capital markets, financial analysis, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Education level preferred: Masters or other postgraduate degree
- Experience specific to Corporate & Regional Commercial Banking lending
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to stay abreast of industry trends and regulations
