- Responding to and qualify inbound Leads in a timely manner,
- Qualifying inbound demand using a range of tactics (e.g., telephone, email, social, chat)
- Having meaningful, productive conversations and capture business needs, challenges and buyers roles and groups. Record the insight gathered.
- Setting up appointments for Sales ensuring all parties attend
- Recording feedback for Marketing
- Supporting the success of marketing sponsored in-person and virtual events; including pre-event promotion to drive attendance and post-event follow up to engage and qualify prospects for sales
- Generating new demand for Sales to pursue
- Discovering, validate, and reach out to additional leads/personas or members of a buying group that may be involved in the buying decision and share this with Sales
- Building relationships with aligned sales teams to nurture leads through opportunity and ensure lead quality is driving conversion to pipeline and revenue
- Developing and methodically drive execution of daily, weekly and monthly activity cadence plans that maximize prospecting efficiency and effectiveness including; account and contact-level research, pre-call planning and personalized messaging via key channels
- Complying with all demand management–related service-level agreements by consistently adhering to defined lead management processes and SLAs
- Tracking and manage prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities in Salesforce
- Meeting your monthly targets
- Professional experience on a customer-focused performance-driven, high-growth, fast-paced sales, service or marketing team
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to professionally interact with a diverse blend of personalities to identify and reach desired outcomes while maintaining strong relationships
- Excellent researching and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse, compare, evaluate, reconcile and derive actionable insights and next steps
- Experience with tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, Eloqua Engage and Profiler (or Marketo), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Groove/Outreach or the ability to quickly learn and embrace new technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional ability to actively listen to, and effectively communicate with, prospects and customers in a variety of mediums, such as written or verbal
- Team player that exhibits a positive attitude, composure under pressure and willingness to think out of the box to drive results
- Detail oriented
- Must be a self-starter and highly ambitious to grow knowledge, skills and career

About the job:
At LexisNexis Risk Solutions we’re looking for a Market Development Representative (MDR) with English proficient/native language skills to manage, develop and grow qualified lead volume and sales pipeline for the business. This role is responsible for qualifying inbound inquiries to determine sales readiness, outbound prospecting via email, social and phone into target accounts in an effort to schedule initial meetings for sales representatives and supporting in-person and virtual events via pre- and post-event outreach. This role is often the first touchpoint for prospects interested in LexisNexis Risk Solutions and will set the tone for the sales cycle and relationship following.
Professionalism, enthusiasm, and excellent communication are key characteristics to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will be a highly energized self-starter who can thrive working autonomously while also being skilled at building solid working relationships with global team members and sales stakeholders.
Reporting to the International Market Development Manager and collaborating with Sales and Marketing, this role is central to our success and key part of the Demand Generation function.
