- Provide marketing support to attorneys based in their region and ensure that marketing needs are being addressed.
- Marketing support includes, but is not limited to, branding and visibility, content development and dissemination across various channels, special event planning, creation of marketing collateral, pitch and proposal development, oversight of digital and social media campaigns, completion of awards submissions, assessment of sponsorships and securing speaking engagements.
- Work with attorneys on the development and execution of individual marketing & business development plans, identify associated strategies and tactics to meet marketing goals, perform ongoing monitoring and follow up.
- Develop, promote and support in-person and virtual regional events and presentations including webinars, panel discussions, networking functions, speaking engagements, podcasts and roundtables. Perform post-event follow up.
- Serve as the Marketing ambassador for new attorneys joining the firm.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on broader marketing initiatives and the execution of firmwide events.
- Draft, review and edit a variety of marketing collateral and pitch materials.
- Support the development of responses to RFPs, pitches and presentations, customizing content as needed.
- Partner with Marketing Communications on the creation and submission of regional surveys, directory submissions and lawyer, practice and regional award/recognition opportunities.
- Research and propose regional marketing opportunities in Southern California that foster firm awareness and visibility.
- Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in marketing or business preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years relevant marketing experience.
- Must be comfortable interfacing with attorneys on an ongoing basis and delivering exceptional client service.
- Proficiency with social media platforms.
- Experience with digital marketing and electronic communications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
- May require travel to support regional events.
- Law firm or other professional services experience a plus.
- Experience with Office365, SharePoint, WordPress, Constant Contact, Zoom, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Teams.
A growing Am Law 200 law firm has an exciting opening for an experienced marketing professional to join its new Los Angeles, CA office.
The Regional Marketing Manager will develop and execute on marketing initiatives and programs that support new and existing client relationships, brand awareness and business generation. Responsibilities will include working with attorneys and serving as the marketing liaison for several practice groups based in the office. The individual will collaborate with the marketing team to leverage other department resources including business development, marketing communications and the firm’s design and digital team and work on initiatives that collectively raise the firm’s brand awareness in the region and bolster visibility for the office and its attorneys. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, proactive, highly organized, and detail oriented with the ability to build interest and excitement around marketing efforts. Prior law firm or professional services marketing experience is preferred.
