      Who We Are:

At Avnet, relationships matter. We are a global, FORTUNE ® 500 technology distributor and solutions company that delivers design, supply chain and logistics expertise to customers at every stage of a product’s lifecycle. Our employees have a front row seat to the latest innovations shaping the world we live in and the future we share. We’re driven to help our customers around the world succeed and we do so by earning the trust of some of the biggest names in technology.

Working at Avnet means being a part of a global team. We work collaboratively and with integrity, doing business the right way. For more than a century, we have partnered together to help our customers, suppliers and teammates realize the transformative possibilities of technology. Experience what’s next at Avnet!

      Job Summary:

As a member of Avnet’s lead management team for the Americas region, you will have two main areas of responsibility:

      • Collect and prepare leads lists (normally in Excel spreadsheets) from a variety of sources, clean/normalize/filter/sort the data for import into Marketo, import the leads into Marketo programs, and confirm the records are correctly appended, scored and pushed to Salesforce CRM if qualified. Once in Salesforce and depending on the lead program, you will append those records as needed with extra information important for Sales.
      • Grow into a Marketo power user to support our regional marketing efforts, building Marketo programs that support email blasts, nurture, webinars, and other marketing tactics; be a “Marketo consultant” for marketers to help them understand what the Marketo technology can do to optimize their marketing campaign results.

This is an essential role -- without accurate, clean, and correctly appended information going into the Marketo, we cannot have desired Sales outcomes for the leads that Marketing generates.

If you take joy in accuracy, process, “if-then” and “and-or” logic, cleaning data, catching bad data, flexing in Microsoft Excel, and most of all, contributing to Sales victories, this role will be a great fit.

Prefer candidate in the Phoenix metro area.

      Principal Responsibilities:

      • Receive and prepare leads lists from a variety of sources.
      • Spreadsheet preparation and analysis: cleaning, normalizing, filtering, sorting data in lead lists before importing into Marketo.
      • Once in Marketo, confirm that those records are appended, scored as expected, and pushed to Salesforce CRM if qualified.
      • Once in Salesforce and depending on the lead program, you may also further append those records in Salesforce with additional information needed for Sales.
      • Providing Marketo and Salesforce reports to a variety of stakeholders.
      • Maintain and organize marketing email inbox that receives leads from several sources.
      • Support our Supplier marketing team, building Marketo programs that support email blasts, nurture, webinars, and other marketing tactics; be a “Marketo consultant” for marketers to help them understand what the Marketo technology can do to optimize their marketing campaign results.

      Job Level Specifications:

      • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, but especially proficient in Excel, particularly its basic analytical functions (pivot tables, formulas, de-duping, etc.). If you know about its more advanced functions, even better.
      • Must be a numbers person that can look critically at both raw data and the results of analysis. Can you look at data in a spreadsheet or in a database and think “this looks good” or “this looks wrong?”
      • Collaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally.

      Work Experience:

      • Typically less than 2 years with bachelor's or equivalent.
