Job Description
- Req#: 26-07572
- Work within a material planning team at the client San Antonio manufacturing facility where we build Class 6-8 commericial trucks and EVs.
- Plans, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle.
- Determines material requirements from engineering and production schedules.
- Coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
- Develops specifications for new contract orders.
- Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity; creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems
- Proficient with MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.
- Bachelor’s degree and no experience OR At least 2 years of shop order planning and purchasing experience
