What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead New Product Development, Product Improvement, and Sustaining Changes for a product line
- Advise on complex design and engineering decisions while maintaining project schedules
- Mentor and guide junior roles, enhancing their product design skills
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure optimal design from a manufacturing perspective
- Prepare company standards and implement best practices to streamline design processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Expert level CREO modeling expertise
- Technical/Associate Degree with 10 years’ experience in a related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic understanding of team leadership qualities/practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with CAD and design hardware/software recommendations
- Familiarity with electromechanical systems and associated calculations
- Proven ability to function as a key member of engineering project teams
