      We have an outstanding Contract position for a Mechanical Stockroom Technician to join a leading Company located in the Laurel, MD surrounding area.

      Pay Rate: $32 - $40

      The Mechanical Stockroom Technician will be a member of a team that performs a range of stockroom and inventory management functions. This role is critical to ensuring timely material availability, maintaining strict traceability, and upholding the accuracy and integrity of all inventory transactions.

      Responsibilities :
      • Receive and process incoming component-level parts and materials from suppliers into the Parts Management Database
      • Verify receiving documentation to ensure accuracy of parts, materials, and associated records
      • Fulfill material requests by picking stock, verifying part numbers, lot numbers, and quantities, and recording all transactions in the Parts Management Database
      • Ensure timely and accurate entry of all relevant parts data into the database
      • Support production planning and the Production Planning Office, including cycle counting, parts kitting, receiving inspections/verifications, and surplus material handling
      • Maintain and organize data files, including inspection routing, purchase orders, and stock issue records; scan and upload documentation into the Parts Management Database
      • Perform on-site pickup and delivery of parts and materials across company facilities using a vehicle, as needed

      Basic Hiring Criteria :
      • High school diploma or equivalent
      • Requires a valid state of residence driver's license in good standing
      • Demonstrated experience in production support, stockroom operations, or inventory control
      • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
      • High level of initiative, reliability, and attention to detail
      • Ability to accurately count and manage small components
      • Sound judgment and decision-making skills

      Desired Qualifications :
      • Working knowledge of EEE and mechanical components
      • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, particularly Visual Enterprise Manufacturing
      • Prior experience in aerospace or defense environments with strict traceability requirements
