      Overview

      The Riverside Earn & Learn Program is an educational and professional opportunity for medical assistant candidates to participate in a Riverside-paid Clinical Medical Assistant Internship program while working within the Riverside Medical Group.

      What is a Clinical Medical Assistant Intern?
      A Clinical Medical Assistant Intern is a team member that is participating in the Earn & Learn Program. Anyone hired into this position agrees to go through the Riverside Medical Assistant program to become a clinical Medical Assistant. This educational program is combined with a clinical work opportunity. Through this 10 – 12 week internship the candidates will form the foundation that will allow them to support patient care within Riverside Medical Group and function independently as a medical assistant.



      Education

      • High School Diploma or GED, High school or equivalent (Required)


      Experience

      • less than 1 year Clinical experience (Preferred)


      Licenses and Certifications

      • CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required) and
