- 1 year in a clinical laboratory performing moderate and high complexity testing.
Medical Laboratory Scientist - Providence Centralia in Centralia, WA
$10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.
***This is a 24/7 inpatient laboratory setting - NOT a clinic environment***
SCHEDULE: We have 0.8 and 1.0 FTEs available in this department. DAY shift with mandatory weekend rotation.
The position is responsible for professional Medical Laboratory Scientist bench duties within the laboratory, for the assigned section(s). The position performs routine and complex tests or analyses in any of these potential sections (as assigned): Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Chemistry, Toxicology, Microbiology, Molecular, Mycology, Immunohematology, LIS and Lean. The position has responsibility for planning, performing and evaluating laboratory testing analysis; and establishing and/or maintaining communications with physicians, patients, other hospital personnel, professional associations, and other organizations.
