If so, we are looking for a driven and results-oriented Medical Sales Representative to join our team in Gaborone, Botswana.

      Your new role

      As a Medical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving strong business growth within your assigned territory by executing high-quality customer engagement and implementing the marketing and sales strategy for your portfolio. You will act as a trusted partner to healthcare professionals, delivering impactful promotional messages and ensuring excellence in execution across all customer interactions.

      Your main responsibilities will be to:

      • Achieve agreed business and financial targets for the assigned portfolio and territory. Execute territory-specific marketing and sales strategies with excellence
      • Deliver high-quality promotional messages in line with the marketing plan using approved promotional materials and tools. Conduct impactful medical and stakeholder visits with clear pre-call objectives, strong execution, and structured follow-up
      • Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation of all HCP interactions in OCE / IO Engage. Ensure all Field Force Customer Engagement (FFCE) KPIs meet or exceed performance thresholds
      • Participate in congresses, symposia, and other scientific or promotional activities as required. Perform effective territory business planning including customer targeting and prioritisation
      • Translate customer journeys into tactical activity plans balancing face-to-face and remote engagement. Track territory performance and contribute to monthly business reviews

      Your new department

      You will join the Commercial organization in Botswana, working closely with Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and other cross-functional teams across the ESA region. The team is focused on driving sustainable growth, operational excellence, and strong customer engagement while making a meaningful difference for patients.


      Your skills & qualifications

      • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, Life Sciences, or a related discipline
      • Minimum 2 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry
      • Strong product and disease knowledge across relevant therapy areas
      • Proven selling skills aligned with the Novo Nordisk Way of Selling
      • Experience with Competitive Selling techniques
      • Proficiency in CLM (Closed Loop Marketing) and OCE / IO Engage
      • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills
      • Ability to operate with an Own-the-Business mindset
