      Job summary

      At present, University Hospitals of North Midlands is unable to offer visa sponsorship for Band 2 to Band 4 roles, as these positions do not meet the minimum salary and skill thresholds required under UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) regulations.

      Main duties of the job

      This would be an ideal opportunity for anyone who has clerical experience of working in the NHS, but this is not essential as full training will be given to the successful candidate.

      The ideal candidate will need to:

      o Be resilient and able to cope to changing goal posts.o Be confident and capable.o Have excellent communication skills.o Be organised.o Be able to prioritise their own workload effectivelyo Use their own initiative.o Be prepared to work within a busy and challenging (but rewarding) environment.

The successful candidate will be required to support the Medical Secretarial Team in the delivery of a comprehensive administrative service, outline new and efficient processes and inpatient and outpatient waiting list management for our speciality, in accordance with the Patient Access Policy. You will be required to communicate appointments and admission related information to patients and carers along with answering queries both verbally and written, and typing correspondence within performance targets as appropriate, and supporting in the delivery of the local and national NHS targets.
