We support people recover to their optimum following a period of mental ill health, we support individuals to improve their quality of life. We work with people to manage their long-term mental health conditions to enable them to live well in their communities.
Currently our service is undergoing a program of transformation, working closely with our colleagues within community rehabilitation services, re-enablement, and high dependency rehabilitation services, forensic services, and our acute care colleagues to offer the least restrictive interventions.
The successful applicant will ideally have two years post registration experience and a particular interest and passion of working with adult service users who have a mental health diagnosis.
You will work in conjunction with other team members, role modelling high quality care, leadership skills, lead on quality improvements.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid of management days as well as allocation of clinical facing shifts across 7-day provision 356 days a year.
It is essential that the successful candidate can work flexible shifts patterns that include nights, weekends and bank holidays
Main duties of the job
Our aim is to enable our service users to reach their optimum functioning to enable them to live well within their community, engaging with key professionals, working part of a multi-disciplinary member of the team as well as supporting service users and their carers.
The successful applicant in addition to care navigation will be responsible for shift coordination, delegating and allocating tasks throughout the working day to other team members.
Good organisational skills and IT skills are essential.
You will need to demonstrate a commitment to providing a high quality standard of care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards change and an ability to contribute to the evolving nature of the service.
You will receive regular supervision both management and clinical. There is an expectation that as a registered member of staff that both management and clinical supervision will be delivered to unregistered staff.
There are training opportunities available to support growth in the role. You will be expected to work shifts including weekends, nights and bank holidays over a 7 day period.
